THE LAMB MARKET

EARLY LOTS AT PUKEKURA Mr. W. Vosper, of Dingley Dell. Pukekura, who has the reputation of being one of the most successful farmers in South Auckland, has had lambs in his paddocks for the past four weeks, this season’s lambs already totalling 400. The percentage of lambs so ' far, states Mr. Vosper, is the best for many years. The sheep have been in splendid condition owing to the favourable autumn and early winter, and have enjoyed plenty of feed. Lambs have been healthy and hardy and mortality has been light. He hopes to have at least 1,000 fat lambs ready for the freezer early in November.
