61 YEARS IN AUCKLAND

THE LATE MRS. M. B. MOIR An old and highly-respected resident of Auckland, Mrs. Margaret Beaumont Moir, died yesterday at the age of 93. Born at Listudor, County Down, Ireland, Mrs. Moir came to New Zealand with her mother and sisters in the ship Silver Eagle in 1866 and settled in Auckland, residing here almost continuously.

In 1879 she married Mr. James Moir During the past few years Mrs. Moir has lived with her only son, Mr. E. J, Moir, of Remuera.

She was a sister of Mrs. Eleanor Carlaw, Ponsonby, and the late Mrs J. Geddis.
