MISSIONARY CAMPAIGN
BIG PROGRAMME ARRANGED A missionary campaign of instruction and inspiration is to commence in Auckland next Sunday in all the Presbyterian churches. A missionary delegation, headed by the Rev. H. McNeur, the founder of the Canton Villages Mission, is to tour the country, visiting all the large towns and many of the country districts. Representatives of the missions in other countries are included in the party, as are also the Home and Maori missions. The party will arrive here on Saturday next, and will commence the campaign at the services in all the city and suburban churches on the following day. In the afternoon great young people’s rallies are to be held at five central places, where speakers from the mission party will deliver addresses. An all-day conference has been arranged for Tuesday at St. Andrew’s Church, in Symonds Street. From 11 o’clock in the morning to late in the afternoon meetings will be continued. In the evening there will be a special demonstration in* Scots’ Hall.
