By the arrival of tho brigantiucMatautu, wo learn of the wreck of tho Mana, one of the Hawaiian Government labour vessels, on the reef of Fuuafooti, one of the EUice group, on the 21st of December. Heavy weather was the cause of her guing on shuns she had thirty-three recruits froin Botumah at the time, all of whom have been distributed amongst the residents of Fuuufuoti, awaiting the return of the captain, who has gone to Honolulu to get another vessel to take them home. The captain allied a survey upon tho vessel, which condemned her, after which she was sold by auction, Mr. W. Williams becoming the purchaser.
