British Official Wireless. Rugby, June 19. In a letter addressed to the chairman of the Stock Exchange Committee a week ago, which was published to-day, ihe Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, states that the country is not in his judgment at present in a position to invest large sums at long terms in foreign countries. Mr. Chamberlain expressed anxiety lest the intrinsic factors of the country's position should be obscurad by a large inflow into London of short-term money from abroad.
