Verdict Of Accidental Drowning Returned

Press Association—Copyright, Masterton, ,Ju»ie 15. ,A verdict of accidental drowning was returned to-night at the "inquest concorning the deaths of Hector Sinclair Donald and Norman Murdock McLeod, who lost their Jives on Saturday night while on a duck shooting expedition' at Kahutara. Both bodies were recovered to-day. It is surmih-ed that their boat capsized, and although they made a gallant fight to reach the shore they were overcome with cold and drowned.

The bodies were located 'by observers in an aeroplane who directed the dragging parties to the spot. The funeral of the victims will take pJace to-morrow afternoon. ,
