Mrs Dymond, who has been the guest of her daughter, Mrs Hancock, Wanganui, has-returned to Cardiff.

Mrs Shepherd, who has heen the guest of Mrs Dobson, Orlando St., has returned to Fitzroy.

, Mrs G. Brown and Miss Brown, who have been staying withers G. Dick, have returned to Marton.

Mrs Belchor and Miss Freda Bel cher. who have been spending a holiday in Wanganui, have returned to Cardiff. ?-

Mrs Keith, who has been the guest of Mrs Shepherd, Beach St., Fitzroy, and who has been staying with Mrs Dobson, Orlando St., has returned to Christchurch.

Mrs Hay (England) was Miss Wilson's guest during the week.

Miss Wilson, Wellington, is at present visiting her'Sister, Miss Wilson, at St. Mary's Diocesan School.

Miss Beswick spent the week end in'New Plymouth with Mrs Hay, who has recently arrived from England.

The engagement is announced of Margaret Cecilia (Madge), only daughter of Mr and Mrs Harry Gray, Cprtlelia St., Stratford, .to Maurice Hition, second son of Mr and Mrs J.H. Hickey, Opunake.

A pleasant evening was spent at the.-Church of England euchre party held in the Parish Hall on Monday night, when the ladies of the parish challenged the men, the ladies being the* winners. The winners for the highest number of games were: La dies, Mrs McQuay; Men, Mr Walker. Amcyig those present were Mesdames Tunbridge, Bell, Boyre, McQuay, McDermott, Gander, Aagaard, Robson, Adlam, Wickstead, Waite, Hignett, Davis, Bell, Walker, Misses Loving, Middleton (2).
