Cook) .... 3 Eleven started, including Persian. Won by half a length. Bronze Hawk, Vista and Persian finished close up to Tom Pinch. Time, 1.12}.

After being prominent early in the Stakes Silver Scorn’s lack of condition told and she faded out. Antique was unplaced in the Stakes and Fairway in the Spring Handicap. J. Pike was thrown by Shakuni at/ the start of the Hobartyille Stakes. Ho was unhurt.

RACING AT WILLIAMSTOWN Melbourne, Aug. 27. At the Williamstown races tho Underwood Stakes resulted; Hall Mark. 7.11, 1; Waltzing Lily, 8.9. 2; Ogwell, 7.11, 3. Eight started. Won by half a neck. Time, 1.39. Peter Jackson was unplaced in the Angtust Handicap and Waterline and Good Hunting in the Trugauini Handicap.
