Tn a game for the siongles champinoship of the Stratford Bjowling Club, played at the green last evening Harris defeated T. Lawson sen. to again anex the premier position o! the club. Harris assumed a big lead in the game and was 17 to his opponent's one. He went up to 10 'with Lawson at 4 and the latter picked up 9 more points, making his total on the 21st head 13, as compared with Harris' 25. The winner was deadly on the driving and drove practically every howl off the jack. Lawson did not appear to be up to form, and, after defeating Sanderson the previous day should have been able to make the contest more even. STRATFORD BOWLING SINGLES V The. match between the winners of the A and B sections to decide the singles champion of the Stratford Bowling Club was played yesterday evening before a considerable number of interested members. W. Harris, m Miner of the B section, beat T. Lawson .winner of the A section, by a margin of 12 points on the 20th head. Harris will thus represent his club in the elimination contests on Thursday to decide the champion of the central division.
