MYLES FOUND GUILTY Press Association— Copyright Wanganui, Feb. 14.—Found guilty by the jury on a charge that at Patea on October 20, with intent to maim, disfigure or do grievous bodily harm he did harm to James William Carratuis Alexander Myles, aged 26 and single, was remanded lor sentence by Mr. Justice Ostler until the end of the 'criminal session. Carradus was shot in the leg m his garden at Patea. Myles was found not guilty on alternative charges of attempting murder, of discharging a loaded shotgun at Carradus With intent to do bodily.harm and of assault so as to cause bodily harm. The jury was out for 35 minutes.

Mr. L. Cohen appeared for the accused ,instructed by Mr. T. E. Roberts, Patea, and the Crown Prosecutor, Mr. M- R - Bain, conducted the prosecution.
