NORTH AUCKLAND MISHAP Whangarei, Feb. - 21.—While riding a horse on his farm at Waiomio, Mr. Jack Pohe met with a sfevere accident. He was making uphill, when the horse took a short jump over an obstruction and the girth snapped, throwing the rider backwards. Mr. Pohe had one rib broken and several others bruised. Medical attention was called and the injured man was taken to his home at Three-Mile Bush.
