~ Among those'"who/' Win'cpnfcroh, the question will' be 'iVtr. W. A. lorns; chairman of the Dairy Board, Mr. D. Jones, chairman of the Meat Board, and Mr. W. Goodfellow, who was present in a consultative capacity at last week's meeting.
, Np public indication has yet been given regarding the nature of the suggested restrictions, but it is understood that'the proposal that foreign supplies should be more drastically restricted than those from Empire countries particularly- is resented. As far as New Zealand is concerned, however, it is believed that the recent largo increase in butter production in Australia is causing difficulty. Probably, it is stated on good authority, the difficulty could be largely overcome if the proposed re-, strietibn could be computed on the basis of the output in a year before the Australian increase became so niarked. To this qu'estion it is understood' to-day's conference will devote most of its attention.
