The Hawk© Cup match was continued in fine weather, Nelson resuming the second innings. M. Eden went early, but a useful partnership en f sued between Reg Eden and Haycock, 64 appearing before it was dissolved. Eden played attractive cricket -all round the wicket.
At the luncheon adjournment Nelson had eight wickets clown for 108 (Eden 34,' Lang not out 19 and New-, man not out 2. Th© extras were 25.
