WORLD’S CHAMPIONSHIP. Sydney, May 1. Major Ooodsell, the world’s champion scalier, states that he will row Hannan on June 13 on the. Parramatta, River, or if ho is allowed £3OO as expenses, ho will row on the Wanganui River. He adds that he will give Hannan till May 8 to give a definite answer. 11 no answer is received by that date he will .arrange to meet Saul for the title. HANNAN HAS NOTHING TO SAY. Dannevirko, May 1. Hannan, who is visiting Dannovirke. when seen this morning by a “News” representative regarding GoodseU’s offer, said he was going to Hamilton and Auckland on Monday, and until he had seen his principals ho was not in a position to say anything about the offer.
