THE SHIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS. The HaXvera Bowling Club won tho Taranaki fowling Centre’s championship shield on the Stratford Club s green on Saturday by 101 points to 92, after fighting out the final with ing'euood. Play commenced in fine, hot weather and on an excellent green, but a. drizzling rain set in in the middle of the afternoon.'
