FIRST DAY’S ACCEPTANCES.

Acceptances lor all events on the first day of the Stratford Racing Club’s meeting close with the secretary (Mr A. Coleman) at 9 p,m. on Friday-.

At the T.J.C. District Committee meeting last night, the Opuuake Club’s programme for its • meeting on -March 17 v was approved. A trainer’s license was'granted to, tf. Jury; jockeys’ licenses to E. h. Goodwin and' H. Johns, tas from January Ist), and H* Tate; appreotux.. jockey’s license to E. C. Kendall (as from the 2&th hist). Several applications for licenses were held over. The action .in confirming the cancelling of W. Ayres’ jockey’s license was confirmed.
