The sun rises to-day at 6.7 a.m. and sets at 5:53 p.m., to-morrow, rises at 6.5 a.m. and sets at 5.05 p.m. ‘ EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Ngatoro, from Greymouth, to-day. Rarawa, from Opehu-ngn, to-drv. Waimea, from Westport, Wednes-' day. Rarawa, from Qnehunga, Thursday. The Kara discharged 303 tons of coal at the breakwater, and sailed at 3 p.m. yesterday for Greymouth. Tlie Rarawa left ' this afternoon, and arrives for the second time early on Thursday morning, instead of on Friday. The vessel will sail as usual at 1 p.m. on Friday. The alteration i B to suit holiday traffic to the Hawera races. The Ngatoro is due to leave Wanganui at daylight to-day. She should reach New Plymouth at about 4 o’clock this afternoon. The "Waimea is expected on Wednesday from Westport with a cargo of Ooalbrookdale coal.
