THE KING'S CINEMA. "BROADWAY BILL." At the King's Cinema to-night, "Broadway Bill," a five-act Metrowouderplay of love and regeneration, gives Harold Loekwood full scope to again demonstrate his wonderful physical strength and all-round good acting. The play itself is a romance of Broadway ami the scenes of night life are superb-, showing the interior of one of Broadway's most famous hotels, whilst the exterior scenes of an estate in Florida are picturesquely beautiful. Many pictures with lumber camp locale have been made in I the past, but it is doubtful if any was staged under like circumstances, nor is it likely that such splendid results were ever obtained, as those who see "Broadway Bill" Mill doubtless be willing to grant an interesting and educational film entitled "The Floating Peril," illustrating how modern submarine mines work, is also included on the bill. "Captain Jink's Baby," a morthful Vitagraph Comedy, showing the troubles of Captain Jinks and his haby, helps to make the programme a very complete one. |
