WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. 0. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows:—• The indications are for: Freshening northerly strong winds to gale, and veering by west to south. The weather will probably bo dull and overcast. Heavy rain is to be expected with rivers rising shortly.
