Athens, May 8. The Government has raised the point
timt while Turkey has accepted the Powers’ arbitration, the Allies have accepted nothing beyond mediation.
Greece insists on an amendment of the draft treaty to secure the settlement of Albania, the Aegean Islands and Mount Athos by the Powers and Allies conjointly. Cettinje, May 8.
Sir E. Grey sent an appreciative message to King Nicholas on his decision, which he says is as much in the interests of European peace as in Montenegro’s interests.
