THE BOY SCOUTS.

(Per Froaa Association.) Welfngton, T.lay 30. A parade of senior and junior cadets and Boy Scouts before General Baden-Powell took place this ■ afternoon in dull weather. The parade state was given at about 155 G. General Baden-Powell complimented the senior and junior cadets on their successful turn-out and smart appearance. Addressing the Boy Scouts, he said that the Scouts in England would like to see something of their \ew (Zealand brothers. They had had visits from Canadian and Australian Scouts, and hoped soon to see some from Xow Zealand. He displayed the King .George banner presented by Mis Majesty for competition among the \ew Zealand troop, and won this year by an Auckland troop. Ho had another banner for presentation to the Wellington District Scouts from the Wellington troop in London. General Ba-den-Powell ' afterwards delivered a brief address to Scoutmasters. He left to-night by the Mararoa for th; south.
