NOTE.—Mr Luxton has been dairying for many years, and has kept only the best cows; the pedigree stock all being bought solely for their milking propensities, and price being no object in obtaining the best. The herd, which is well known in the district, maintained an excellent test at the factory right through last season, and this year’s tests, so far, are from 4.4 to 5.2.
