TOLL-GATE COMMISSION.

(Per Press Association.) Hawera, September 23. The Toll-gate Commission’s report concerning the Hawera and Waimate West County Councils, finds that tollgates cannot legally bo abolished; that the charges are not excessive. The estimates show that Waimate should pay Hawera £582 annually.
