MR. JOHN REDMOND’S PLEA. (Received 23, 8.5 a.m.) London, September 22. - iVfr. John Redmond, in an article in “Reynolds’s Newspaper,” declares, that .the almost universal distrust of tli^ wadministi-atiog, pf ; - justice .in Ireland is’ the 'greatest argument in favour pf Home Rule. .i The distrust springs largely from the laws being foreign, and made-by foreign Parliaments. Many of the criminal laws were tyrannical and offensive, and would never be tolerated in England. Under uo own Government Irehyid Would become the most law-abiding country in the world. i Sir Conan Doyle, greatly influenced by the success of South'Africa, announces his conversion to Irish Home Rule.
