GLASGOW FIRES.
ENORMOUS DAMAGE. (Received 5, 10.10 a.m.) London, September 4. The Co-operative Society’s premises at Glasgow have been burned. The damage is estimated at £IOO,OOO. Another fire destroyed twelve business places in Irongatc, including the historic Tontine House, and endangered other historic spots, including the Glasgow Cross. Four firemen were seriously injured. The damage is estimated at £GO,OOO.
