ROYAL AND BIOGRAPH , ;• PICTURES. • ' ( -To-night in thfe Town Hall Messrs. Saunders and Crust will present proI gramme number two, which includes a picture of “The Late Cardinal Moran’s Funeral.” Commencing with a fine photograph of the Cardinal, the ceremonies at Manly, followed by scones in the Sydney Cathedral, and the immense crowds who assembled thereat. • Among the many other star items to be presented is 1 ‘The Red Eagle,” “Conquering Hero,” and Paths Frefes’ latest gazette. Remember the prices, ladies Is, children 6d, all parts, gentlemen Is, body of hall and dress circle Is 6d. 1 WEST’S PICTURES. The weekly change of programme will bo submitted at the Town Hall to-morrow evening by West’s Pictures. Among the dramatic pictures to be shown are “Attack, on the Mill” (an exciting story), “Lost in the Alps,” “Egret Hunter,” and “Slave of Carthage.” Pictures are promised showing scenes in the Isle of Wight, and on the Zambesi River, and one dealing with the work of Italian artillery is also on the bill. The comic films include “Jones Holds a Party,” “Daddy’s Diddums,” “Trick on Father,” and “Joan Goes Fishing.” Altogether a 'good evening’s entertain- ' ment can be looked forward to, HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. The new projecting machine was in use at His Majesty’s Iheatre last night, when a new programme was presented, and gave every satisfac- , tion, the pictures being very steady, and there being an almost total ab- ■ sence of noise. “Coward or Hero?” >Vas the chief dramatic picture, showing exciting scenes in a coal mine during an explosion. A fine film was “The Rescue - of Molly Finney,’ ’dealing with the abduction of a girl by Canadian Indians, and her rescue by her lover. “Soap Bubbles” and “The League of Mercy” also depicted interesting stories. The scenic films wore well up to the standard, pictures being screened of scenes in Monaco, San Marino, and Singapore, thus covering a wide circle; and, as usual, the Pathe Gazette was brimful of topical scenes. Iho comic films—“ Method in His Madness,” . “Spring-Heel Jack Up-to-date,” “The Senator and the Suffragettes,” and “The Misses Finch and their Nephew Billy”—all created much merriment. The programme will bo repeated until Thursday, when a new programme will bo screened. It was announced last night that all those attending at the theatre on Wednesday would be given a free pass for Thursday’s' entertainment.
