A CUSTOMS CASE.
ALLEGED FRAUDULENT INVOICES. (Per Press Association.) Wellington. August 4. A writ was served to-day on Mr. Beauchamp, manager of tho 'Wellington branch of tho Australasian Kodak Company, having its headquarters at Melbourne, claiming £19,000, a sum said by the Customs Department to be due for duty and penalties for evasion on importations. Tho claim involves a review of tho company’s imports over a long period, and charges of systematic evasion bj means of fraudulent invoices.
