(Fiom Our Own Correspondent.) The Xgaire W.C.T.U. held their usual monthly meeting at Mrs. Moriumi’s homo on Tuesday afternoon, wnon a good number of members were .■resent. Mrs M. ’J 1 . Phillips, president, .•ecupied the chair. A message of sympathy' was sent to Mrs. T. E. Taylor. Final arrangements were made in connection with the W.C.T.U: Provincial Convention,, to ho held hero on Wednesday next, when a fairly largo gath- ■ "jag is expected. Delegates and I fiends from .New Plymouth, Hawera, and Wanganui districts are to be present, and Miss Grimley, of England, '.'ill ()o one of tko speakers at the evening meeting.
