STRATFORD EGG CIRCLE.

A well-attended and enthusiastic meeting of the Stratford Dgg Circle was held last Wednesday evening. Important business was transacted, a very optimistic spirit being manifest. ' The committee appointed to frame an effective code of rules presented their report. These rules were unanimously adopted. It was decided to have 1000 dodgers printed, setting forth tile objects and rules of the Circle. The following directors were elected : Messrs J. W. S}nimonds, A. R. Wilson, T. S. Reader, G. (). Reader, E. Cole, together with the president and treasurer. It is anticipated that the Circle will be in full working order in the course of a few weeks. Intending members are urged to make early application to any of the above gentlmen, or to the serdtarv, Mr C. Downey.

THANKSGIVING SERVICE. c ANOTHER ROYAL PROCESSION. (Received 30, 9.30 a.in.) IjondvTu, June, 129. . The route of the Royal procession was lined by great crowds, and the weather was line. The King wont from Buckingham Palace to the thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s, and then attended a luncheon at the Guildhall, where there were 700 guests. The procession proceeded through the North of London. The streets wore lined by 17,000 troops, the colonials being stationed in the Mall. Facilities wore given to schoolchildren and afflicted persons to witness the- procession. The, Prince of Wales and Princess Mary accompanied choir parents, and Lord Kitchener rode beside the State landau. Fifty seats were assigned to Nonconformist representatives at St. Paul’s. Mr. and Mrs. Fisher, Sir Joseph and Lady Ward, Sir Wilfrid Laurier, and General Botha wore prominent aln.org the invited guests, and were ovationed in ■ the city.
