DOMINION DAIRY SHOW.

A meeting of the Ladies’ Committee of flic Egmont Agricultural .nd Pastoral Association was held on Saturday afternoon to make arrangements for the Homo Industries !'cpartmont. In the cookery section new classes have been added for sponge sandwich, girdle scone, collection small cakes, cocoanut ice and toffee, and plain family cake lor girls under 17. In section 11. a class lias been added for home-made wine. In fancy work the new classes are: — Patchwork, shadow work, otton dress complete, child’s hand-sewn muslin frock, pair crochet doyleys, white linen, cake plate doyloy, piece of lanvas work, crochet coarse, crochet ir.e. All exhibits must be the iona hie work of the exhibitor. No work laving taken a first prize at a proamis Hawera A. and P. show .cart :e exhibited a second time. For school work were added for best collection of woods, mounted and named, best model in plasticine rcoresenting geographical forms, etc. Other classes are to bo added under the guidance of the Technical School. V class in the produce for best exhibit this season’s potatoes was also added, [his schedule will be very complete, -.ml classes of ail descriptions are oaterod for. All that is wanted to nako these sections a success are ■pedal prizes. These are now being •anvassed for.
