OPENS 'A METHODIST CHURCH. (Per Press Association.) Palmerston North,- Juno 20. The Governor laid the. foundation, stone of the Commemoration of St. Paul’s Methodist Church hero to-day. The new church is a handsome structure' in brick, and His Excellency remarked that it was the only permanent building of the kind in the t vwn. His Excellency was er.tertaineu t a complimentary banquet by the Maa.awatu A. and F. Association in the afternoon, and attended the annual dinner -M the English Public School Old Boys’ Association in the evening.
