A conference of scrgoant-majni s from the various areas in the Taranaki group was held in Stratford yesterday, the object being to ensure_ coordination in the work in Hie various areas. Among other things ways and means of carrying out the medical inspection of men were discussed. ’I he Mounted ‘lilies and Cadets will ■he paraded on Coronation Day to take part in the ( L ie celebrr.l ion. The total registrations to date in liio Stratford area total 8(ili, consistiag of !SS senior cadets and 3)8 Territorials.
