DOMAIN BOARD.

The Domain Board held its monthly meeting yesterday aiternoon. .Present: Messrs G. N. Curtis (in the chair), T. H. Penn, R. McK. Morisail, and W. P. Kirkwood. Mr Ralfe was granted leave of absence. A letter was received from .the'see- . rotary of the Association Football Club asking permission to use the ground recently vacated by the Rup!>y Football ' Club. Messrs Kirkwood a', d Morison and the secretary were appointed a committee to interview the club on the question. it was decided to give several of the Bo ird’s lessees notice to repair fences round the reserves held by them. . The Board is having logs and lern -ut on the western boundary of King Edward Park to minimise the risk lire in the dry season. The work is also xrrocecding of gravelling the footpath from the Page Street entrance of King Edward Park to the swing bridge. Accounts amounting to £xU 1/s were passed for payment.
