MEETING OF DIRECTORS

The weekly meeting of directors of Fie T iranaki Petroleum Company was hold last night, when the manage-; reported as follows:No. 2 boro is keeping up the weekly .'low of oil.

No. 3 boro is at a depth of 4020 ft., and drilling is proceeding through good country with a strong show of gas. On Wednesday night the oil Sowed freely. All the signs.point to probable early interesting developments.

’ No. 5 boro is at a deptli of 1570 ft., and operations arc proceeding satisfactorily. The indications are very favourable. Good progress is being made in constructing the now underground tank. Notification having been received of the Hon. J. A. Millar’s visit, to New Plymouth on Tuesday, the directors have arranged for him to go out to the works at Moturoa at 10 a.m.“News.”
