AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. Notwithstanding that hard rain set in early last evening, the attendance at His Majesty’s theatre was good, when a programme of unusual interest was screened. The first number, “Philoe, the Isle of the Dead City,” introduced some excellent water views, which were generally admitted to he Al. ‘‘One of the Finest” (drama), was another film that was watched with keen interest. “New York of To-day” (scenic), among other filings, revealed the “skyscraper” in all its majesty, while “Hearts of Oak” (drama), “A Cruise on the Mediterranean” (scenic), “Papinta” (drama), with “Rent Day,” “Museum of Sovereigns,” “Never Again,” “Percy, the Cowboy,” and “Mr. Four Flush” (comics), were all bright specimens of the kinematographic art. The programme will ho repeated to-night and to-morrow afternoon and evening.
