WYNDHAM HANDICAPS At the request of owners and trainers, the handicaps for the annual meeting of the Wyndham Racing Club on January 1 will be declared on December 27 (after the Dunedin Cup meeting) and acceptances will be taken on December 28. Race Between Runner And Cyclist A highlight of the Invercargill Amateur Cycling Club’s weekly evening sports meeting at the South Invercargill Domain last night was a race between a runner (kx. Sutherland) and a cyclist (A. Dawson) over 100 yards. In an exciting race the cyclist won by six inches. The time was 10 2-ssec. Other results were as'follows: — Half-mile Cycle Race (final): A.
