CRIPPLED CHILDREN SOCIETY

At a meeting of the Southland branch of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society a number of cases were dealt with and the secretary reported that at the annual crippled children handwork competition held at Wanganui, Southland entrants secured five prizes. The street days recently held at Gore and Mataura realized the sum of £239/17/6, bringing the total receipts from the appeal to £1159/18/-. This result was very gratifying and with the donations still to come it was hoped that £l2OO would be reached.
