Late News SUBMARINES NEAR GIBRALTAR
(Rec. 2.10 a.m.) ALGERCIRAS, Oct. 1. Two submarines were reported in the Straits of Gibraltar. Destroyers and numerous launches created a turmoil in the Straits with depth-charges. Seaplanes patrolled over a convoy of 20 ships ready to leave Gibraltar, where there are the battleship Malaya and five destroyers. >
