SOLDIER ACCIDENTALLY KILLED

(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Sept. 30. A soldier was killed instantaneously in Waterloo Quay yesterday afternoon. He was Gunner Leslie Wilkins, aged 22, who was stationed at a camp near Wellington. His home was at Milton (Otago). Wilkins was riding a motor-cycle which came into collision with a heavy Army truck. He suffered a compound fracture of the skull.
