Dawson, Glencoe, have received cable advice that their son, Private Eric Dawson, is safe and well after having .been wounded in the battle of Egypt. NAVAL CASUALTIES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, September 29. The following naval casualties are announced:— Kingston, Shipwright (second class) T. E., died after an illness; wife, Mrs Kingston, Auckland. T/Acting Suh-Lieut J. H. Wilkinson, R.N.Z.N.V.R., previously reported missing now reported to be a prisoner of war; Wellington.
