NEW GERMAN PLANE

Improved Merrerschmitt (Rec. 9.40 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 28. The aeronautical correspondent of The Daily Express confirmed that the latest Messerschmitt 210 long-range fighter, which is an improvement on the Messerschmitt 110, has been operating over Britain. The new type has a more powerful .engine and better stream-lining. The crew is housed well forward of the wings for better visibility. British fighters have already shot down two 210’s and seriously damaged several.
