INSPECTION OF CELLARS
An inspection of city cellars which it has been proposed to utilize for air raid shelters was made yesterday morning by members of the Works Committee of the City Council and the superintendent of the Fire Brigade (Mr J. Philp). At the last meeting of the council the proposed shelters in Dee and Tay streets were discussed and the committee was requested to consider the scheme and bring forward a recommendation to the council.
