TWO DRAG RUNS AT THE KENNELS EASTERN SOUTHLAND HUNT CLUB Two drag runs were held by the Eastern Southland Hunt Club at a meet at the kennels, Otamita, on Saturday afternoon. The runs were in the nature of qualifying runs for Phalanx, Confidant, Rosaleen Dhu, Eastern Song and Shadow Boy and all these | horses gave good performances. There was again a big number of followers and the meet, which was held in ideal weather, was most successful. Jumping competitions were also held and a high standard was set.
