"CHINA HAS PASSED CRISIS”

CHUNGKING, June 6. A speech made by Marshal Chiang Kai-shek, which asserted that China had passed her most dangerous crisis, has been released. Marshal Chiang said, “There is decidedly no danger of being subjugated by the enemy. We must do our utmost to recover our own and the Allies’ lost territories and also help in the emancipation of all peoples now under the yoke of the aggressors.”
