TRUSTEES, EXECUTORS AND AGENCY CO. (Special) DUNEDIN, May 28. In the sixtieth annual report the directors of the Trustees, Executors and Agency Company of New Zealand Ltd. state that the profit and loss account shows a net profit for the year of £2401, to which has to be added a balance of £4200 from last year, making a total at credit of £6601. An interim dividend of 3 per cent, for the halfyear ended September 30, 1941, was paid amounting to £9OO, leaving a balance to be dealt with of £5701. Of this balance the directors recommend that the following appropriations be made: Dividend of 4 per cent., making 7 per cent, for the year, £1200; written off freehold property account, £129; written off office furniture account, £150; balance to be carried forward (subject to income, social and national security taxes for the year just ended), £4222. COLOMBO TEA SALE J. Rattray and Son, Ltd., have received the following report of the tea auction held in Colombo on Monday: Competition was keen for all grades, with advances of 2d to 3d for common teas and l>/ 2 d to 2d for medium kinds. Fine quality grades showed an increase of 2d. WAIKAKA STOCK SALE Only a small yarding was forward at the monthly Waikaka stock sale. Fat and forward wethers made up most of the sheep section and these sold from 28/9 up to 31/-. Ewe hoggets realized 25/2 and fat ewes brought 23/-. A line of halfbred two-tooth ewes realized 25/6.
