BINOCULARS FOR ARMY
There has been a good response in Invercargill to the nation-wide appeal launched on Monday for binoculars and telescopes for use by the armed forces. Twenty-one pairs of binoculars and two telescopes were received yesterday at the Chief Post Office and with the 26 pairs of binoculars handed in on Monday and Tuesday the total number received is 47 pairs of binoculars and two telescopes.
