INVERCARGILL FIRE BOARD

The Invercargill Fire Brigade has attended 19 calls since November 24 last, according to the report of the acting superintendent of the brigade (Mr R. A. Robertson), which was presented at a meeting of the Fire Board yesterday afternoon. The calls were composed of four hedge and grass fires, two chimney fires, 12 property fires, and one automatic false alarm.
