(Special) WELLINGTON, January 21. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate to strong northerly winds changing to westerly; the weather cloudy with some scattered rain; temperatures moderate.
The weather in Invercargill yesterday was fine and warm. At 1 o’clock this morning the weather was fine and clear. The barometer reading was 30.10 (steady).
