DAMAGE AT HAWAII REPAIRED

UNION’S APPLICATION WITHDRAWN

WASHINGTON, January 19.

The damage inflicted on military and naval establishments in Hawaii as a result of the Japanese attack on December 7 has been completely repaired, according to Mr Samuel King, Hawaiian delegate to Congress, who has returned from an inspection trip. The air bases in Hawaii are in full commission and the facilities at the navy yard which was undamaged are working at full blast repairing naval vessels. The fuel oil supply and other stores, including ammunition, were untouched. Maritime communications between Hawaii and the United States are being maintained.
