FIRST REHEARSAL IS HELD
E.P.S. ORGANIZATION AT WAIKIWI The first full rehearsal of the Waikiwi E.P.S. organization was conducted on Saturday. Under the supervision of the controller, Mr C. S. Gordon, the arrangements were carried out lyThe signal was given by the church bell at 3.30 p.m. and there was a good attendance. Although the result of the rehearsal was considered to be excelllent, certain weaknesses were revealed, one being that the signals were not loud enough. The first aid work was inspected and the result was said to be excellent. The hospital work was supervised by Mrs J. D. Speirs. Still more men are required for certain committees; more. wardens and more men to help with the first aid work are needed. A meeting will be held at 7.30 tomorrow evening in the school to discuss the results of the rehearsal.
